Our Story
The Samaritan Project is a Charitable Organization that operates under Samaritan Medical Clinic which is located in the community of Bugango town council at the Uganda -Tanzania border in the south western part of Uganda. The project was born in 2016 out of a deep, compassionate desire for teenage and young women were often seeking for abortion, and even when we were not in position to offer the service, they would go elsewhere and carry it out. Therefore, we were compelled to start a pregnancy resource and maternity center to help these vulnerable mothers through spiritual and emotional counseling, sanctity of life education and providing Antenatal and maternity services. The project for the years depended on the savings we made from cash clients that came to the clinic, but later the number out competed the little resource that we have.
Currently, the project receives between 20-30 pregnancy crisis teenage and adult mothers each month.
And this overwhelming situation compels us to invite well wishers and related organizations to extend a compassionate support and partner with Samaritan project in supporting these crisis pregnancy mothers to keep their pregnancies to term.
